Klondike Colours is a colouring book like no other. Printed on high quality art paper, the carefully crafted images seamlessly weave together modern and iconic gold-rush era scenes. It’s like seeing the ghosts of the Dawson-that-was in the midst of Dawson-that-is! All of time exists in the same time and place…for your colouring pleasure.
Visual artist Andrée Bélanger loves history and art, and relishes epic wilderness and quirky colours of people and places, especially Dawson City. Originally from the Lower St. Lawrence Valley in Quebec, she studied art at the Yukon School of Visual Arts in Dawson City in 2012/13. A citizen of the world, you will find her at home anywhere she can observe the interesting animals, people and civilizations that so fascinate her and inform her artistic discipline.
Klondike Colours will be available in May 2014 at fine bookstores in the Yukon, or directly from the publisher.
